The U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is accepting applications for the FY 2018 Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP). JMHCP grants support public safety and violence reduction through service partnerships that enhance and improve law enforcement responses to people with mental illnesses or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders who come into contact with the justice system. JMHCP promotes cross-disciplinary training and facilitates communication, collaboration, and the delivery of support services among justice professionals and treatment and related service providers.
