The 2018 National Tribal Judicial and Court Personnel conference, hosted by the National American Indian Court Judges Association, will provide quality culturally-appropriate continuing legal education to more than 200 tribal judges, peacemakers, and court personnel. Participants will learn about major recent court decisions and legislation, as well as emerging practices that improve the quality of tribal justice administration while maintaining fidelity to tribal traditions, customs, and values. Workshops include: Building Blocks of Sacred Healing Through the Use of Restorative Justice; Domestic Violence Protection Orders; and Enhancing Recovery from Intergenerational Trauma and Addiction through Power of the Circle.
