The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is seeking applications for the FY 2019 Enhancements for Juvenile Indigent Defense program. This program will provide funding to states and/or localities and national training and technical assistance to enhance juvenile defense delivery systems and improve juvenile defense practice. This program furthers the department’s mission to reduce violent crime by supporting states and localities in their efforts to address barriers and gaps within their juvenile justice systems in order to reduce reoffending and decrease recidivism.
