Apply Now: Enhancing Community Responses to the Opioid Crisis—Serving Our Youngest Crime Victims

Jul 2, 2018

Office for Victims of CrimeThe U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is seeking applications for grants that support young crime victims and enhance community-driven responses to the current opioid crisis. The purpose of this solicitation is to address an urgent gap in crime victim services related to the increasing use of opioids and to expand upon existing or establish new programs to provide services to children and youth who are victimized as a result of opioid use. OVC anticipates that this solicitation will support service providers in expanding their current scope and expertise to ensure that children and youth—the most vulnerable victims impacted by the opioids—are supported as they heal from the impact of crime and substance abuse.

The solicitation provides further details about the program. Applications are due by July 10.
