The Federal Interagency Reentry Council (The Council) has been working since 2011 to reduce recidivism and improve outcomes related to employment, education, housing, health, and child welfare for people involved with the criminal justice system.
Comprising more than 20 federal agencies, The Council coordinates and leverages existing federal resources; dispels myths related to reentry and clarifies policies; elevates programs and effective policies; and reduces policy barriers to successful reentry.
