The Tribal Probation Academy (TPA), hosted by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and the American Probation and Parole Association, will offer training sessions that will take place over three separate weeks from October 15–19, November 12–16, and December 10–14. The TPA is designed to provide comprehensive training to entry-level justice system personnel who are affiliated with a tribe that provides community supervision services. During each of the three weeks, attendees will receive training from subject-matter experts on a variety of topics relevant to the profession. At the end of the third week, attendees must pass a comprehensive exam to receive certification. Registration must be completed by September 7.
